Billiam Studio helps existing business owners launch B2B software platforms. As a technical co-founder for hire, we work with a small number of clients to launch industry-changing tech.

Software development trusted by businesses across industries
Despite a great offering and client satisfaction, your service is only one stream of revenue. Scalability and growth are limited.
You're aware of the "restaurant" model of software development shops: they write a scope, serve you an app modified from their set menu, and get you in and out as quickly as possible.
Hiring software developers as full-time employees brings risk. They often do not have the experience that comes from launching entire platforms from scratch for existing business services.
👋🏼 I'm Kevin. I run Billiam to help companies productize their expertise into a SaaS platform. We write code every day that generates recurring revenue for our clients.
“I also want to thank Kevin Doran. He is the guy building the fabric of Fred and Res Ipsa. We hired him because he was super competent, easy to talk to, and just a nice guy.”
“Kevin is an experienced fullstack developer who understands unfamiliar business requirements quickly and can work autonomously under urgent deadlines. However, his most important quality is his professional and positive attitude which enables him to adapt quickly in new client's environment.”

“I had the pleasure of working with Kevin as our founding engineer at BlueCargo, where he made a lasting impact on our product and engineering approach. Kevin is a highly product-focused engineer, always anchoring technical decisions to customer needs and the broader product vision. This focus helped drive BlueCargo's product in a direction that was both strategic and user-centered.”

Most projects take 4-6 months from concept to launch. You’ll have a working login within the first month. The goal isn’t just launching—it’s getting happy, paying customers as fast as possible.
No. We build intuitive admin tools that allow non-technical users to manage the platform.
We use a phased rollout strategy, starting with a small group of ideal clients. We help create onboarding materials, provide hands-on technical support, and refine the experience based on real user feedback before full deployment.
Yes. We regularly build custom integrations with other systems (and with AI, this is smoother than ever). That said, we only consider integrations that directly improve our new product for your customers—not making internal ERP replacements.
From the beginning, we consider the business model. We use the industry-standard payment provider & toolkit, Stripe. Options include subscription tiers, usage-based pricing, implementation fees, or hybrid models with manual billing.
Software is never truly "done." We improve based on user feedback and business needs. If budget is tight, we switch from build mode to maintenance mode until you’re ready for the next iteration.
